About Jenjumoonji
Hi, I’m Mariana, the artist and creator behind Jenjumoonji. I make small-batch pieces from my home studio in Vancouver, BC, each one created with care, intention, and a lot of heart.
I have always enjoyed exploring different mediums, from illustrations and stationery to polymer clay sculptures, but these days I am especially devoted to ceramics. After my first pottery class in 2023, I knew I wanted to spend more time with Mother Clay. What started as a hobby gradually became my safe creative space, a place that taught me to let go and gave my life another special purpose.
Since childhood, art has been where I go to slow down, explore, and reconnect with myself. Now, sharing that space through my work and seeing it resonate with others feels incredibly special.
My aim is to create pieces that feel comforting, a little nostalgic, and quietly joyful. I draw inspiration from nature, everyday moments, and childhood memories.
Fun fact, the name Jenjumoonji comes from my two cats, Jenju and Luna, whose name means “moon” in Spanish. Like them, this brand is playful, curious, and full of personality.
Thank you for supporting independent art. It is because of you that artists like me can keep creating and sharing joy with the world. 🌞
